Rotary's Profound Formula on Global Youth Leadership Training

  • Global presence of more than 40 years

Since an official adoption of RYLA in 1971 by Rotary International, today more than half of 529 Rotary districts hold RYLA events annually. Over 10,000 young people from all over the world attended RYLA every year, making RYLA one of the most significant youth leadership training programs. The first RYLA program in District 3450 was held in 1985, which is more than 26 years from today. More than 3,000 young people attended RYLA.

  • Strong leadership foundation

Rotary has one of the strongest leadership networks in the world; with presence in 168 countries and areas and over a million Rotarians around the world, involving top leaders in political, businesses and communities. RYLA is a youth leadership training program run by professional leaders.

  • Service Above Self

Rotary's best-known motto is "Service above Self", and its secondary motto is "They profit most who serve best". The aim of Rotary is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
